And not for the first time during the evening. Faces of Stone in particular has some of David's most emotional playing, and knowing the story behind the song from the recent documentary, had me close to tears. And I thought Dave Kilminster did a phenomenal job, especially with Comfortably Numb.ĭavid I'd never got chance to see before and at the RAH was very intimate, despite being up in the gods, with the added bonus of playing Division Bell & Rattle That Lock material.
I saw Roger on The Wall tours twice (once indoors, the other at Wembley stadium) and no matter how good the guitarist is, theres always that 'but its not Gilmour'.
